Description:
Welcome! This course is designed to teach Native Android App accessibility design and development techniques. The accessibility requirements for coding and design are based on the WC3's WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) version 2.1 levels A and AA.
Each lesson uses good and bad code and design examples to show the right and wrong ways to do accessibility for native Android apps. Do's and Don'ts are included with guidance on what should be done for accessibility and what should be avoided.
The course is organized by components and content commonly used in native Android apps. Each lesson defines the must-have requirements for accessibility when building the component or content. The WCAG success criteria applicable to each component or content are listed at the bottom of each lesson.
