Course Overview

The General Accounting Team uses accounting standards to maintain a chart of accounts, process journal entries, conduct financial reviews/reconciliations and generate university financial reports. This course is made up of five modules that provide an overview of that process and how that connects to departmental transactions.

Certificate Requirements

Each module is self-paced, takes between 30 minutes to one hour to complete, and concludes with a quiz. Participants must achieve a score of 80% or higher on each quiz to successfully complete a module. This course consists of 15 modules, each worth one certificate credit toward the Fiscal Training and Development Program. Participants who complete all modules will earn a total of 15 credits.
