This course explores how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance the creation of scientific diagrams, flowcharts, and lab illustrations for research and educational purposes. Participants will receive hands-on instruction in using leading AI platforms to design high-quality visual representations of complex concepts in the sciences. The course also demonstrates how to integrate ChatGPT to automate diagram generation using mermaid code, along with a review of additional AI-based design tools. Practical walkthroughs guide learners through customizing elements, enhancing accuracy, and exporting visuals for publication and presentation.
