This course offers a step-by-step guide to converting a Master’s Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation into one or more publishable journal articles. Learners will explore the benefits of publishing papers during or after graduate school and will be introduced to a nine-step process for manuscript preparation, guidance on determining authorship order, and strategies for addressing common publication barriers. Additional topics include how to divide a thesis or dissertation into multiple articles, navigating copyright considerations, and selecting appropriate institutional or Open Access repositories for long-term research visibility.
