Description:
This course provides a step-by-step guide for faculty members preparing a successful tenure dossier. Learners will review the key milestones in the tenure and promotion process and gain a clear understanding of the roles played by departmental, school/college, and university-level review committees. The course also outlines promotion criteria for advancement from Assistant to Associate Professor and from Associate to Full Professor. Participants will receive detailed instruction on writing each of the six core dossier sections with real-world exemplars and learn how to curate strong research, teaching, and service portfolios. Additional topics include organizing supporting materials and preparing thoroughly for the tenure review itself.
