Description:

This course equips participants with the skills needed to identify impactful research problems and develop clear, testable hypotheses. Learners will explore major sources of novel research ideas and apply a 7-question framework to assess the value of pursuing a specific idea. The course covers strategies for reducing research bias, conducting comprehensive literature searches, and formulating research questions that meet the ROTS criteria. Participants will also learn how to construct null and alternative hypotheses and evaluate study feasibility, including the role of pilot studies.
