Description:
This course offers an in-depth examination of the primary non-experimental research approaches used in scientific inquiry. Participants will compare and contrast seven major methods—including correlational, ex post facto, survey, case study, meta-analysis, naturalistic observation, and ethnographic designs—highlighting their respective strengths and limitations. The course provides step-by-step guidance on how to conduct each approach effectively, along with an explanation of the five core types of ethnographic analysis. Learners will also gain practical skills in developing a codebook to support the analysis of data in non-experimental research contexts.
