Description:

This 3 hour virtual workshop introduces participants (faculty/researchers/postdocs, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students) to existing challenges in the field of geosciences with respect to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. The workshop also provides participants with practical skills for having difficult conversions and being an active bystander. Participants will gain access to several resources that will help them navigate challenging situations that may arise at Virginia Tech. Hosted by the Department of Geosciences with support from InclusiveVT.
