Description:

Non tenure-track faculty are essential to ensuring that Virginia Tech fulfills all three pillars of the land-grant mission: teaching, research and extension.  These two sessions will serve as an information gathering and networking opportunity for instructors, collegiate, adjunct and any professionals in a teaching or research role at Virginia Tech who are not engaged in the tenure-track process.  Both sessions will include a guest speaker who will set context to the National conversation around transformative change within non-tenure or term faculty at higher education institutions.  The in-person session on Jan. 13th will end with a community building reception for attendees.
