Description:
This 90 minute session provides a snapshot of accessible web development using HTML, offering practical tips that can be immediately applied. The focus is on actionable knowledge, ensuring participants leave with a solid foundation in creating more accessible web content. We'll cover methods to make web sites and web apps work for everyone. It covers the core principles (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust) with examples, semantic structure, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and ARIA roles, and a demonstration of a screen reader.
