This 90 minute session offers an overview of accessible CSS practices. Participants will understand the role CSS plays in enhancing web accessibility and feel empowered to implement immediate improvements in their projects. We'll discuss CSS's role and impact on visual design, covering core principles like color contrast, relative units, and text styling, then delving into techniques such as focus indicators, adaptable layouts, and media queries. Additionally, it introduces advanced features like CSS Grid, Flexbox, custom properties, and pseudo-classes, offers tools for CSS accessibility testing, a live demonstration of quick fixes, and concludes with a additional resources.
