This offering is for faculty who have already successfully completed an LED facilitated mastery program for online teaching and learning or connected classroom teaching and learning within the last 3 years. This offering allows you to put a course you teach through the VT course quality assurance process with the LED instructional design team.
Successful completion over a period of 6 weeks results in your course being credentialed to offer in a distance education format, allows you to be in compliance with the VT Distance Learning policy and be in compliance with the Office of the Registrar course scheduling guidelines.
This offering is primarily virtual, however some face-to-face consultations will take place as the review of your course progresses. Once the session opens, all participants will complete a self-assessment of their course which will be reviewed by an Instructional Designer. Specific information will be submitted for review after that point.
On the day the offering starts everyone will be contacted. If you pass the verification, you will receive instructions on how to proceed. If you do not meet the criteria, you will receive instructions on the various options available to you to complete an LED facilitated mastery program.
