Description:
We are developing a transdisciplinary curriculum focused on digital games and interactive entertainment. The core areas focus on game logic and prototyping, game design components and systems, social, behavioral, and ethical dimension of games, game interfaces and user experiences, and game narratology and ludology. Bringing together the teaching and research of faculty all over campus, we are on the cusp of proposing a new minor and several new classes to be integrated in it. Five faculty co-taught the pilot of the introductory course under a new, experimental, module-based model.
