Description:
We leverage generative AI into the botanical world to illustrate the complex ways in which climate variables; temperature, precipitation, and changing seasons affect plant life. By converting real-time climate data into the visual language of art, this initiative will craft evolving portraits of plant ecosystems under varying environmental pressures. The generative AI algorithm will use this data to alter the colors, textures, and growth patterns of plants in digital artworks, creating a visual representation of how different species might adapt or struggle under changing climatic conditions.
Speakers:
Pinar Yanardag, Assistant Professor, Computer Science;
Song Li, Assistant Professor Genomics and Bioinformatics;
