Description:

Online Extension Educator Training provides an overview of how to design and deliver online Extension programs with Canvas utilizing asynchronous, synchronous with Zoom integration, or hybrid options.   The training features three Zoom sessions (May 25th, June 8th, and June 22nd) with additional content posted on the Canvas training site.  Topics covered in the training include: course design, getting started with Canvas, creating accessible content, producing instructional videos, and awarding digital badges.  The course is a project-based training so attend with a project in mind.  As you progress through the training, you will have the opportunity to create a Canvas site with a home page containing a video introduction, add module content, and setup a digital badge to recognize course completion.  You will complete your project by late summer and earn the Online Extension Educator badge to recognize your achievement.  Visit the Online Extension Educator page to learn more about the verified skills represented by the badge.
