Description:
This workshop is designed for Virginia Tech faculty, researchers, and students who are relatively new to Advanced Research Computing (ARC) resources. This workshop is primarily a guided demonstration with sections where attendees, who have an ARC account, can code along with the instructor if they wish to do so.
Course Objectives:
Attendees will learn (1) job scheduler basics (Slurm), (2) how to submit jobs on ARC in three different ways (batch mode, interactive/developmental jobs, and through our website portal Open OnDemand), and (3) how billing works on our clusters.
