Description:
This workshop focuses on (1) data/file transfer and sharing tools through the command line, Open OnDemand, and Globus and (2) standard linux tools for packaging and compressing datasets and the performance impact that this can have. This workshop is primarily a guided demonstration with sections where attendees, who have an ARC account, can code along with the instructor if they wish to do so.
