In this session, we will talk about incorporating student-AI use decisions into an outcomes-based (“backward”) course design framework, and how we can treat student AI engagement as a pedagogical decision on an assignment-by-assignment basis. Participants will actively create an alignment map for a specific learning objective to model the approach.
