Description:
The Faculty Leadership Incubator for Senators is designed for current Faculty Senators who want to deepen their leadership capacity within shared governance. The program recognizes that effective faculty leadership emerges not only from formal roles, but also from everyday actions, coalition building, and strategic engagement across the university.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
Apply leadership competencies and self-awareness practices to enhance their effectiveness as faculty senate leaders.
Advocate for and lead positive change that supports faculty success, institutional excellence, and campus communities.
Strengthen shared governance by developing leadership capacity in themselves and others and contributing to a sustainable pipeline of future faculty leaders.
