Description:
This PDN session is intended for faculty recently hired at Virginia Tech (within the last 12 months). This program will provide an overview of teaching, learning, and computing resources available to all faculty at our institution. A variety of topics will be discussed, including strategies for active learning across the disciplines. You will have the opportunity to interact with your new colleagues and build relationships to help get you started here at VT. In addition, if you are not familiar with our new learning management system, Canvas you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered and/or to learn about new tools available in each.
