Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) can be powerful tools for code development. Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code (VSCode) is a lightweight IDE that allows you to set up a customized workspace. In this workshop, we will use VSCode for editing code, browsing directories, connecting to ARC clusters with ssh, and exploring extensions for a variety of features such as error detection and version control.
