Description:  ICAT Playdates are Friday morning gatherings to explore creativity and innovation at the nexus of science, engineering, arts, and design. We have doughnuts and coffee with networking for the first 20 minutes, followed by a presentation and question/answer period. Meet faculty, students, and the community. An investigation into the recycled raw material and processes with which a robot could additively manufacture into variable forms and densities by way of 3D needle felting and heat forming. Now there is a functional method to design, tool path and robotically felt PET fiber. Presented by Jonas Hauptman and Alan Asbec
