Description:
Surveys can provide an invaluable lens on the experience of historically excluded groups, but they can also place additional burdens on them or even inadvertently obscure their needs and perspectives. This workshop provides overview and discussion of critical issues in survey equity and inclusion, as well as strategies to promote representation and reduce risks of harm when designing, collecting, and analyzing surveys.
No experience is necessary to participate. We recommend combining with Surveys 101 to ensure your surveys are also well-designed for both participants and researcher
