Description:

Build on a basic understanding of web scraping and XPath by using extensions in the Google Chrome browser to rapidly find and extract related page content when viewing an individual webpage. Participants should understand web scraping basics equivalent to completing Web Scraping 101 and need access to a computer with Google Chrome. The workshop is based on episode 3 of the Library Carpentry Web Scraping curriculum (https://librarycarpentry.org/lc-webscraping/), and is relevant to anyone interested in gathering data from websites.
