Description:

Join Virginia Tech University Libraries and the National Agricultural Library on Wednesday, October 2nd, at 1:00pm EST for an informational webinar on public access and sharing your USDA-funded work.

Please share broadly, all are welcome. While Virginia Tech University Libraries are a partner to host this webinar, anyone with an interest is welcome, regardless of your institutional connection or if you have no connection with a research organization.

The United States Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has released two memos providing guidelines on public access awareness and compliance. Public access refers to the free and equitable availability of federally funded scholarly materials, including data and publications. This presentation will provide details on how to meet USDA's public access requirements to submit final, peer-reviewed, accepted manuscripts to PubAg and create catalog records for data assets in the Ag Data Commons.
