Description:
Do you find publication agreements mystifying? Are you wondering what you *could* ask for that would shift things a bit more into your favor? Do you have regrets regarding what you cannot do with your publication? This session is taught by the Scholarly Communication department of the University Libraries. The example-rich session is designed to assist authors in developing skills to better understand and evaluate publication agreeements. And, to hopefully better meet the needs of authors and readers. You're welcome to bring and share a (redacted) publication agreement of your own.
We request that you read the following two-page article before attending this session: https://web.archive.org/web/20220811084355/http://blogs.harvard.edu/infolaw/files/2009/05/authors_publishing_intro-tka1.pdf
