This 60-minute session will take participants through how to critically appraise literature for a systematic review or a comprehensive literature review. We will discuss the types of bias found in literature and how that bias can impact the conclusions of your review and/or meta-analysis. Participants will also be introduced to several critical appraisal tools to evaluate the risk of bias in individual studies and larger systematic reviews. This session is open to researchers of all levels interested in conducting a systematic review and/or meta-analysis. [Systematic Review Series #4 -- - attend as a one-off or as part 4 of the series]
