Description:
Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, surveys and forms had already moved largely online. Now, the logistics of paper forms and mail-in or in-person surveys are even more compicated than before. This workshop is designed to help you take advantage of Virginia Tech's Qualtrics software to efficiently collect forms and surveys online.
It introduces the Qualtrics platform, major question types, survey logic, distribution options, automated workflows (for example, to send a form to an administrator for review), and basic tools for working with your data on Qualtrics or exporting to your favorite spreadsheet or analysis software.
This is an introductory workshop: you do not need experience or a project to participate. Anyone can register, but you will need a VT login to access Qualtrics.
All workshops in the Data Education Series are available online via Zoom; links will be sent when you register.
IMPORTANT: your seat will not be held unless you also register through the Libraries calendar at https://calendar.lib.vt.edu/.
If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, please email library-event-accessibility-g@vt.edu during regular business hours at least 10 business days prior to the event.
