Description:
JMP Pro is no-code data analysis software designed for researchers and scientists. Its comprehensive statistical capabilities support many uses, and its interactive, graph-first interface makes it a strong teaching tool, too. It’s used widely in both academia and industry and is available to all Virginia Tech faculty and students (get access here). On Apr. 12, the JMP Academic team is holding three sessions for faculty and students to introduce JMP Pro and to demonstrate several graphing and analysis techniques in detail.
Machine Learning
• Fitting decision trees, neural nets, and other machine learning models
• Performing model cross-validation and comparison
• Applying models in both data mining and prediction
