Description:

Ethics and compliance are both integral components of Virginia Tech’s ability to conduct innovative and impactful research. While compliance is following the law, ethical decision-making is the process of making decisions that are consistent with professional values and ethical norms. This half-day webinar will cover the regulatory requirements for conducting research with animals, as well as the process for ensuring the health and safety of all personnel working with biohazardous agents. There will also be discussions about the resources and requirements for keeping research data secure.
