Description:
Conflict is inevitable in our world. It permeates the boundaries of our professional and personal domains and is a natural part of these relationships. Being equipped with the skills to engage in conflict along with the awareness of when to focus on applying these skills is the key to fostering the beneficial outcomes that can result. This seminar provides the opportunity to focus on conflicts relevant to the collaborative research relationships we experience and seeks to provide participants with the understanding of how to employ the appropriate skills as conflict starts to influence the interpersonal relationships we rely on for success in our research endeavors. - Part of the SIRC Investigator Series
