Full program description
The Statistics in R Beginner Badge offers thorough training in using R for data analysis. Participants will gain hands-on experience with essential skills such as navigating RStudio, importing and cleaning data, calculating descriptive statistics, creating high-quality statistical graphics, and performing hypothesis tests (i.e., t-tests for continuous data and proportion tests for discrete data). Upon completing the series of five courses, participants will be prepared to handle a wide range of statistical analysis tasks, from data cleaning to data visualization and hypothesis testing.
Participants who achieve an 80% or higher on the final tests across all five courses will earn the Statistics in R Beginner Badge.
This course is jointly sponsored by the Statistical Application and Innovations Group (SAIG) and Professional Development Network (PDN)
