Location: Online Only
Instructor: Kate Miller
Presented By: Statistical Applications & Innovations Group (SAIG)
Description:
Linear regression modeling is one of the most widely used statistical tools in academic research. Applying this foundational technique effectively requires a degree of technical knowledge regarding model construction, diagnostics, and interpretation. This webinar, which is appropriate for novice to intermediate linear modelers, will help you build the technical knowledge to be able to confidently use linear modeling in your work. We'll see how to: build standard least squares regression models with a mix of continuous and categorical factors, diagnose and address common problems with regression models, and interpret model parameters appropriately.
