This course will introduce new users to OneNote 2016, an easy-to-use note-taking and information management program. OneNote allows users to eliminate paper notebooks and to-do lists in favor of the easily organizable digital notebook. This course covers a wide range of customization options within the OneNote environment including styling, formatting, attaching files, inserting images and videos, and organizing the environment. Let OneNote help you organize your professional digital life.

Workshop Objectives:

Exploring Notebook Structure

  • Navigate the OneNote 2016 environment
  • Use predesigned templates for OneNote notebooks
  • Customize the user interface within OneNote

Adding and Formatting Notebook Content

  • Apply formatting to Notebook Content
  • Insert Images and Audio into a Notebook
  • Add quick notes and links
  • Use drawing tools

Embedding and Attaching Files

  • Embed Excel Spreadsheets
  • Attach Other File Types

Organizing and Searching Notebooks

  • Use tags
  • Organize and Search Notebooks
Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be received by Human Resources at at least three business days prior to the workshop. A $35.00 fee will be assessed to all no-shows and cancellations received less than three business days prior to the workshop.
