This course will help experienced users in Word 2016, the useful document processing program of the Microsoft Suite. This course covers integrating picture and text, inserting other media elements, creating text boxes and adding WordArt and other text effects, as well as preparing a document for review and collaboration.  Take advantage of these tools and benefit professionally by learning simple but valuable features of the world’s most popular word-processing program.

Workshop Objectives:

Manipulate images

  • Integrate pictures and text
  • Adjust image appearance
  • Insert other media elements

Use custom graphic elements

  • Create text boxes and pull quotes
  • Add WordArt and other text effects
  • Draw shapes and create complex illustrations with SmartArt

Collaborate on documents

  • Prepare a document for collaboration
  • Mark up a document and review markups
  • Merge changes from other documents

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be received by Human Resources at at least three business days prior to the workshop. A $35.00 fee will be assessed to all no-shows and cancellations received less than three business days prior to the workshop.
