This course will help experienced users take advantage of even more benefits with Access 2016, a database management program. Access is used mainly for analyzing large amounts of information and managing related data. This course covers advanced form design and navigation, importing and exporting data into Access, and creating macros and validating data using macros so that you will have access to organized information in your database with minimal effort using this ideal product from Microsoft.  

Workshop Objectives:

Implement Advanced Form Design

  • Add controls to a form
  • Enhance navigation and organization of forms
  • Apply conditional formatting

Share Data Across Applications

  • Import and export data into Access
  • Link tables to external data sources
  • Create a mail merge

Use Macros to Improve User Interface Design

  • Create a macro
  • Restrict records by using a condition
  • Validate data by using a macro
  • Automate data entry by using a macro

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be received by Human Resources at at least three business days prior to the workshop. A $35.00 fee will be assessed to all no-shows and cancellations received less than three business days prior to the workshop.
