The Introduction to Geospatial Mapping workshop will cover what is Geographic Information System (GIS), geospatial data, and mapping. This workshop will also cover geospatial data types and file formats, and finally introduce participants to different types of geospatial mapping tools. The workshop is customized to cater to students, faculty, and researchers across various disciplines.
