Description:
The landscape around copyright and large language models is rapidly evolving. From a series of early lawsuits filed in 2023 against LLM developers to a series of reports issued by the U.S. Copyright Office in 2024 and 2025 https://www.copyright.gov/ai, to present-day cases, settlements, rejections, appeals and more. This session will present an overview of key themes of AI and copyright in the context of a practitioner-focused, content development approach to U.S. Copyright law.
