In this one-day professional learning event, participants will learn updated accessibility policies and inclusive design practices to make courses inclusive and accessible. This event also provides structured peer support and feedback for instructors across disciplines to integrate UDL principles into their course design practices at Virginia Tech.
Event registration is limited to 35 Virginia Tech faculty members and up to 5 graduate teaching assistants. Participants will have the opportunity to join the fall 2024 UDL Peer Mentoring Program, where they will be paired with a Virginia Tech UDL Faculty Fellow. This mentoring opportunity is available only to the first 20 event participants who express interest during registration.
This event is funded by the Provost's Office through the Faculty Innovation Grant Program, specifically as part of the awarded Phase 3 of the UDL Faculty Innovation Group.
