Description:

This introductory workshop invites university faculty to begin exploring the possibilities of flexible teaching and learning approaches. Rather than offering comprehensive training, this session serves as a starting point for ongoing conversations about adapting your teaching to meet diverse student needs. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of what flexible teaching means in today's educational landscape, explore different teaching modalities (online, hybrid, blended) and their basic characteristics, and consider essential design and management elements for flexible courses. This workshop is ideal for faculty who are curious about flexible teaching approaches and looking for an entry point into these conversations. No prior experience with alternative teaching modalities is required
