Description:
Navigate the pedagogical decisions required when AI enters your classroom. This journey emphasizes when, why, and whether to integrate AI—not just how. The Teaching with AI Learning Journey guides and supports instructors as they explore how to leverage AI as a teaching and learning tool in their courses. The journey begins with two foundational sessions: one examining pedagogical approaches and design decisions for intentional AI integration, and another exploring the current landscape of AI trends and technologies in higher education. From there you’ll customize your path by selecting specialized workshops to meet your teaching context and disciplinary needs. Choose from a broad spectrum of topics, including assignment and assessment (re)design, embedded AI features in existing VT tools, how AI and accessibility intersect, and more. In addition, there is a hands-on session to practice developing content for your course. The learning journey culminates in a capstone experience where you'll synthesize your discoveries and share plans or your course via a poster showcase.
