Description:
This introductory session provides participants with a foundational overview of Canvas and its core features for teaching and learning. Participants will explore course navigation, communication tools, assignments, modules, grading features, and basic course management practices. The session will also introduce strategies for organizing content, supporting student engagement, and creating a more accessible and user-friendly learning environment within Canvas. No prior Canvas experience is required.
By the end of this session Participants will be able to,
Navigate the Canvas interface and identify key tools used for course communication, content organization, assignments, and grading.
Apply foundational Canvas features and best practices to support effective, organized, and accessible teaching and learning experiences.
