Description:

TLOS is hosting its first TLOS Tool Showcase Day on Friday, October 14. During the day, we will have many sessions featuring new and updated platforms so that you can learn what the next generation of teaching tools can do to help you in your teaching, research, and everyday productivity.

The necessity for effective teaching delivery has never been as compelling or as challenging as it is today in advancing diversity and inclusion in postsecondary education. Universal design for learning (UDL) as a strong candidate for professional learning events to help instructors use inclusive design and pedagogy to identify and support diverse learning needs in various learning environments across the disciplines in higher education.  In this UDL session, we will collectively explore UDL as a research-based framework and a social justice model that emphasizes a flexible curriculum design that supports student success of diverse learners.
