Description:

TLOS is hosting its first TLOS Tool Showcase Day on Friday, October 14.  During the day, we will have many sessions featuring new and updated platforms so that you can learn what the next generation of teaching tools can do to help you in your teaching, research, and everyday productivity.

In the coming decade, our collective capacity to intentionally implement effective flexible/online learning strategies to address opportunities and challenges will be an increasingly important element of Virginia Tech’s instructional portfolio. “Flexible/online learning”can be used to represent all forms of remote or partially remote instruction, including synchronous online (aka distance) learning and asynchronous online, as well as related terms such as “blended,” “hybrid,” “flipped,” and “multi-modal.” This session will explore ways TLOS can enable faculty, programs, and colleges to incorporate flexible and online learning into classrooms and curriculum planning.
