Description:
In this interactive session, we will work together to explore the topic of how design thinking strategies can be used in the classroom to prepare students for the workplace in the 21st Century. A modeling approach will be used to turn your courses into learning environments that reflect current best practices in teaching and learning.
Topics include:
- Design thinking as an approach to course design and delivery
- Backward planning
- Iterative student assessment
- Assessment of 21st century skills
- Fostering student responsibility for learning
