Discover the core skills, concepts, and conversations shaping higher education in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). AI Essentials for Teaching and Learning is a one-day event designed to help Virginia Tech educators build a strong foundation in using AI thoughtfully and effectively.


Through four engaging, hands-on workshops, participants will explore critical topics such as AI literacy, effective prompting, practical teaching workflows, and designing AI-conscious courses. Whether you're just getting started or seeking structured guidance, this series offers research-informed strategies, space for reflection, and real-world examples tailored to the Virginia Tech context.
