Description:

The lab design workshop will bring individuals and teams from departments together with expertise, support, and community to engage in  redesigning Virginia Tech lab courses for Spring 2021 to maximize safety, student engagement and learning, and equity. The ½ day workshop builds on the 2 ½ day June 2020 workshop and is intended for both new and former participants. The workshop will consist of information sharing,  presentations and discussions, and consultation support from TLOS and EHS. Modalities of instruction supported will include in-person, field labs, virtual labs, home lab kits, and simulations. This workshop will help participant prepare a  working plan for each lab program including a list of resources needed for its execution. These plans will receive review and approval from the Provost's Office and EHS.
