Description:

This discussion group is for instructors who are exploring advanced applications of generative AI in teaching and learning, whether through their own instructional practice or through how students use AI in coursework.

In this context, advanced goes beyond general-purpose prompting and chatbot conversations. It includes approaches such as AI coding agents, AI systems that perform multi-step tasks or take actions, discipline-specific tutors, virtual stakeholders, simulations, adaptive learning experiences, and more.

As a discussion group, participants are encouraged to share what they are trying, what is working, what challenges they are encountering, and what questions they are still exploring. Instructors can benefit from meeting and learning from other colleagues who are working on advancing AI-enabled teaching. Participants will receive one PDN credit for each session attended.
