Term: Spring 2022

Date: Once a month, Feb/Mar/April

Time: 9am, Wed, Feb 23. Subsequent meetings may be at different times/days, depending on the needs of the group.

Location: Zoom only for first one. Subsequent meetings may include physical location and/or meeting in other XR spaces.

Description:

Extended Reality (XR) environments, including Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), offer exciting potential for engaging students. This faculty-led inquiry into teaching in these environments will explore definitions, tools, and strategies to uncover potential uses in your teaching. Participants will meet to learn and explore infrastructure options to help increase adoption across the university. Faculty will discover tools and strategies for teaching in immersive environments.
