Description:
Following a brief presentation introducing low vision and its impact on environmental perception, participants will engage with an interactive vision simulation website. Using captured photographs of built environments, attendees will explore how spaces appear under different types and severities of visual impairment. The session aims to increase awareness of how lighting, contrast, and spatial design influence accessibility and mobility for individuals with low vision.
